Falz addresses ambition of joining presidential race in 2023.
Folarin Folana, Nigeria’s rapper, popularly known as Falz, has addressed concerns about running for president in 2023.
In a podcast interview with Lola Oj, Falz stated he does not have plans to become Nigeria’s President or pursue any other political ambitions at this time.

Being a President, I’ve never thought about it, it’s not part of the plans. I’m just a well-wisher that wants everything to be ok in this country.
“I look around me and I see everything is upside down and I don’t think we should be existing like this as a people.
“There’s an entire array of greatness we’re supposed to walk into, but we’re dragging our feet, that’s the problem.
Falz said
As a leading campaigner against old leaders, Falz has called for the youth of Nigeria to lead the country.
Since then, there have been calls for Falz to announce his candidacy for the presidency of Nigeria in 2023 and form a party alongside other young activists.
