Update on Marc Cucurella’s Transfer Rumour to Chelsea

Chelsea are looking at a replacement for Marcos Alonso who might be heading to Barcelona before the end of the transfer window. Cucurella has been on the radar of Manchester City since Oleksandr Zinchenko left the Etihad club for Arsenal Football Club.

The Blues are set to have a meeting with Brighton and are reportedly set to pay £50 million for the player. Chelsea’s manager, Thomas Tuchel had said in an interview that the team needs to strengthen the defence department of his team.

The Stamford Bridge club lost Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen to Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
