The phrase “Shout outs to Poco” isn’t far fetched from the fact that he had been influential in some of the biggest young artists getting a huge collaboration with some of the biggest names in the music industry.
From Bella Shmurda to Black Sherif and then Portable (Zazuu) these are artists that have been vocal about the influence of Poco Lee in getting their biggest collaboration till date with artists like Olamide, Burna Boy and so on.
How Did Bella Shmurda Get Olamide On Vision 2020 Remix?
In a recent interview on the echo room with Quincy Jones, Bella Shmurda was vocal about how immense Pocolee’s influence was in him getting a collaboration with Olamide on his hit song “Vision 2020.”
The singer revealed that when he recorded the song Vision 2020, Poco Lee had heard the song and urged him to go ahead to shoot a viral video.
Bella revealed that Poco who had a huge platform at that time uploaded the video which Olamide had seen and had prompted him to reach out to Bella for a collaboration.

Black Sherif’s Collaboration With Burna Boy
Talented Ghanaian musician and performer Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kweku Frimpong, who is popularly known as Black Sherif, revealed in an interview how Poco Lee might have been the one that played his song for Burna Boy who later reached out to him for a collaboration.
The twonacts had worked on the remix of Second Sermon which shook the music industry in different countries in Africa.
I don’t know who played the song for Burna but I think Poco played my song for Burna. Burna loved the sound. Someone from Burna’s team then reached out to me. We talked for like 20 minutes.

How Did Portable Meet Olamide?
For many that may not know Poco Lee had been integral in Portable meeting and collaborating with Olamide on the viral song “Zazoo Zeh.”
According to the punch newspaper Poco Lee had introduced and played Portable’s song for Olamide who had liked it and had reached out for a collaboration.
The Punch newspaper stated:
Popular Nigerian celebrity dancer and hype man, Iweh Pascal Odinaka aka Poco Lee, took Portable’s career to a whole new level when he introduced him to YBNL boss, Olamide.
As a result of his relationship with Poco Lee, Portable went on to perform at the Livespot X Festival in Lagos where he shared the stage with Olamide and Wizkid.
