Snoop Dogg’s Sexual Assault Complaint Has Been Dropped.
Lady who accused Snoop Dogg of sexual assault and abuse after attending one of his concerts in 2013 has withdrawn her civil claim.
According to court filings, a lady who accused Snoop Dogg of sexual assault and abuse after attending one of his concerts in 2013 has withdrawn her civil claim.
Jane Doe was recognized as a dancer, model, host, and actress who had previously worked with Snoop Dogg.
The singer, on the other hand, claimed that the woman had never worked for him.
The complaint was dismissed on Wednesday, over two months after it was filed in the Central District of California, and only days before Snoop Dogg’s true name, Calvin Broadus, was scheduled to appear in the Super Bowl halftime performance in February near Los Angeles.
Charges against all other persons mentioned in the claim, including Snoop Dogg’s business organization, were also dropped as a result of the voluntary dismissal.
Snoop Dogg’s representative told Reuters in a statement,
“It is not surprising that the plaintiff dismissed her complaint against the defendants. “Her complaint was full of false allegations and deficiencies,”
Jane Doe’s lawyer, Matt Finkelberg, did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
According to the lawsuit, Snoop Dogg entered a toilet she was using and compelled her to perform oral sex while masturbating in front of her.
Snoop Dogg has refuted the allegations through a representative, who described them as “simply meritless” and a “self-enrichment shakedown plan” ahead of his Super Bowl performance in February.
