Show Dem Camp’s Iconic Palmwine Music Festival To Take Over Summerstage In New York
Show Dem Camp is set to present the first and biggest African Music Festival to Summerstage 2023 in New York, US.

Alte’ originators and leading Nigerian Hip-Hop duo Show Dem Camp expand their Palmwine Music Festival to North America. Making it the first African Music Festival to take over the iconic Central Park in New York City as part of the 2023 SummerStage series.
The original African music festival, Palmwine Festival, makes its American debut on 27th August 2023. The festival, launched by Show Dem Camp in Lagos, held its fifth edition in December 2022, with over five thousand people in attendance. Since its inaugural event in 2017, it has become an annual event staple in Lagos and London, with New York set to follow suit.
Show Dem Camp founded the festival as an extension of their Palmwine Music releases. SDC has had the best of the best from African music join their Palmwine series. From Oscar Nominated Tems to Grammy-winning Burna Boy. The duo have always had their ear to the ground and have been the home to some of the best Afropop artists early in their careers.
London and Lagos editions saw Oxlade, Amaarae, BNXN fka BUJU, Lojay and Ladipoe grace its stage. 2023 is set to be even bigger.
Palmwine Music Festival NYC will see Show Dem Camp and friends perform Palmwine classics with familiar friends and new faces.
