Selena Gomez pleads with fans to halt shipping out ‘vile and disgusting’ messages after Hailey Bieber interview (video)
Award-winning artist Selena Gomez has given notice to her fans after they sent “vile” messages coming after Hailey Bieber’s recent interview about her relationship with her husband, Justin Bieber.
Speaking in an interview early this week, Hailey Bieber disclosed how she has been the centre of bitterness from Selena Gomez fans in the past, with some accusing her of “stealing” Justin from Selena owed to the timeline of their relationship.
Hailey pressed during the interview that she had “never” been with Justin while he was in a relationship with someone else simultaneously.
After the interview. Social media trolls commenced trolling her again.
Selena has now beseeched them to quit sending messages of vitriol (abuse).
Although she didn’t name Hailey or address the interview explicitly, she notified fans on a TikTok live that she had glimpsed some horrendous messages.
“Some of the things that I don’t even need to be aware of are just vile and disgusting,” she said.
“It’s not fair because no one ever should be spoken to in the manner that I’ve seen.”
Selena went on: “All I have to say is it’s incredibly ironic that I would release something that is all about kind words ’cause that’s exactly what I want. That’s it.”
