Ruger Hints At Collaboration With Jamaican Star Popcaan
The “Girlfriend” songster act, Ruger is prepared to release his entrance album after the triumph of his elongated play projects, and it might feature a Jamaican megastar.
Skillful Nigerian singer, Ruger who’s real name is Michael Adebayo Olayinka, has given hints that a probable collaboration with Jamaican heavyweight musician, Popcaan.
The artist who lost to Buju in the Next Rated category of the just concluded at the recently held 15th Headies award ceremony followed up the flop with the notification of his debut album.
Ruger, who has already released three EPs titled “The Second Wave (Deluxe)”, The “Pandemic” and The Second Wave” made it public that his foremost studio album will be released in 2023.
Talking about his forthcoming album on Monday the 12th of September 2022, the musician made it known that the project will be a “game-changer”. He also went on to appreciate everyone who has been making efforts to bring the album to fruition.
The appreciation post came after the stunning musician posted a video of himself and Popcaan on his Instagram page, a post that was also reposted by Nigerian songster and Ruger’s label finder, D’Prince.
The Ruger and Popcann collabo, if it does come to pass, will undoubtedly be one for the books due to the smooth mixture of both artists in dancehall.
