Ruger Drops New Singles, ‘Red Flags’ & ‘Asiwaju’: Listen

Since Ruger dropped his debut extended play Pandemic back in 2021, the Jonzing World singer has been on an impressive run, moving impeccably with his unique brand of sound. His sophomore EP The Second Wave and its deluxe edition further cemented his place in the music industry and ever since he hasn’t looked back. Today, Ruger continues his impressive run with two new singles dubbed Red Flags and Asiwaju.

On Red Flags, Ruger portrays himself as that toxic-sweet guy every girl is into. “You saw the red flags baby but you ignore the red flags, baby you come dey vex, I cannot change baby you better rest,” he sings over the mellifluous instrumentation of the TSB and Adam Lunn-produced track.

Asiwaju is another impressive number. On the Kukbeats-produced track, Ruger is all about himself, he’s confident that he is ahead of his peers. For context, “I’m ahead of them Asiwaju, I’m fxcking baller iga lo ni mi.”
