The collaboration also made waves, amassing over one million streams on its release day.
According to Chart Data, Wizkid now dominates Nigeria’s streaming charts, holding the top two positions for the highest debut-day streams.
Kese leads as the most-streamed song, followed closely by Piece of My Heart in second place.
Adding to the Afrobeats momentum, Asake’s Grammy-nominated hit MMS, from his album Lungu Boy and featuring Wizkid, secured third place with 870,000 streams on its first day.
Wizkid’s record-breaking success underscores his position as a global music powerhouse and emphasizes the rising impact of Afrobeats on the international music scene.
