Nigerian Entertainment News: “When I Made N50 Million I Didn’t Fret” – Rema Opens Up
A fresh clip from Rema’s interview has sparked widespread reactions online
The “Calm Down” crooner has shaken up the music scene by claiming he is on par with the top three Nigerian artists: Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid.
In another segment of his conversation with the Breakfast Club, Rema shared his feelings after receiving his first fifty million naira.
Rema reflected on the hardships he endured on the streets, stating he remained calm after receiving his first significant paycheck as an up-and-coming artist.
Rather than splurging on himself, he decided to buy a car for his mother and a musical instrument for a church.
“When I made my first 50 million I was not fret. I got my mum a car and I bought instrument for the church,”
Rema said.
The singer remembered the tough times he faced after the loss of his father and older brother.
