Nigerian Entertainment News: Verydarkman Responds to Deeone’s Agege Allegations, Exposes Nedu
Social media influencer Martins Otse, known by his moniker Verydarkman (VDM), has addressed claims made by former BBNaija contestant Deeone, whose real name is Aderombi Adedayo Martin, regarding his lifestyle.
According to Gistlover reports, Deeone made a controversial statement during a conversation on Nedu’s HonestBunchpodcast, suggesting that VDM does not associate with the ‘straight’ male community.
He further claimed that VDM’s attraction to men was widely known, sparking significant attention across social media platforms.
In a video shared on Tuesday, February 11, VDM explained that numerous individuals had forwarded Deeone’s comments to him, encouraging him to take legal action for defamation.
However, VDM clarified that he had no intention of pursuing legal recourse or involving the authorities.
“I’m from the streets, a ghetto boy, I’m not about taking anyone to court,” he stated.
VDM also directed some of his comments towards Nedu, the host of HonestBunch. He revealed that Nedu had been repeatedly inviting him to appear on the podcast since 2024. VDM shared a screenshot of their WhatsApp exchange, which allegedly showed Nedu offering to buy him a car in exchange for his participation.
“Nedu wanted me on his podcast, but I didn’t respond. When we met in Abuja, Nedu told me he would buy me a car if I agreed to join,” VDM revealed.
He added that Nedu’s repeated attempts to contact him were met with refusal, suggesting that these rejections might have led Nedu to fabricate accusations about him, possibly with Deeone’s assistance.
Additionally, VDM claimed that many influencers featured on Nedu’s podcast either receive payment or pay to be included. He further alleged that the podcast’s main objective is to generate views and profits from YouTube, often at the expense of addressing important issues affecting Nigerians.
