Nigerian Entertainment News: Verydarkman Laments Online Over Rumors of Prophet Fufeyin’s Alleged Forgiveness and Lawsuit Withdrawal
Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, a prominent Nigerian social media activist, has unleashed a fiery response to circulating rumors that Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, the founder and head prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry in Warri, Delta State, has allegedly forgiven him
It’s worth recalling that Verydarkman had previously disclosed how the pastor had filed a monumental N1 billion lawsuit against him, coupled with a restraining order, following the use of what he described as “magic soap and water.”
Determined to gather incriminating evidence, VDM put the controversial items to the test at a handicapped home, intending to use the findings in his legal defense. However, on the morning of August 11, a screenshot rapidly spread across the internet, claiming that Prophet Fufeyin had chosen to reconcile with VDM.
The message, written in a sincere tone, highlighted the clergyman’s supposed dedication to embodying the teachings of Christ.
The statement read:
“Verydarkman, I, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, extend forgiveness to you. I am withdrawing the court case against you. Following the teachings of Jesus, who preached peace and corrected sinners, I forgive you.
“May you learn from your mistakes and walk in righteousness from now on, my son.”
Despite the buzz, a quick review of the prophet’s social media platforms revealed no trace of this supposed act of forgiveness, raising doubts about the message’s authenticity.
Nevertheless, in a recent video, Verydarkman directly addressed the viral post, expressing deep skepticism and casting doubt on its authenticity, suggesting it might not have originated from the prophet.
Even so, VDM made it abundantly clear that he would outright reject any apology from the person he believes inflicted such harm upon him.
In the sarcastic video, VDM mimicked tears, mocking the notion of forgiveness in this intense dispute. He underscored that his battle with the ministry leader was not merely a personal vendetta but a fight for justice to safeguard citizens from the dangers of substandard products.
