Nigerian Entertainment News: VeryDarkMan Exposes Mercy Chinwo’s Alleged Misconduct Toward Former Manager, Challenges Her to Deny
VeryDarkMan has sparked a lively conversation online after releasing a video that reportedly sheds light on gospel artist Mercy Chinwo’s actions in her ongoing feud with her former manager, Eezee Tee
Known for his bold approach, the media personality stated that he had thoroughly investigated the situation, expressing his disapproval of Mercy Chinwo and her associates.
He accused them of hiding behind the guise of Christianity while engaging in questionable activities.
VeryDarkMan claimed that Eezee Tee had withheld Mercy Chinwo’s royalties due to a breach of contract, which involved secretly organizing gigs and failing to share the resulting profits.
Additionally, he alleged that Mercy Chinwo refused to attend events arranged by the label, leading to refunds and further tensions between the two. The situation escalated when Mercy Chinwo filed a complaint with the EFCC, accusing Eezee Tee of attempting to take her royalties.
VeryDarkMan revealed that the case was moved from Lagos to Ilorin, where Eezee Tee was held for nine days after not complying with the investigator’s requests.
In the end, Eezee Tee agreed to release $274,000 in royalties but demanded that Mercy Chinwo account for undisclosed earnings from unauthorized performances.
VDM also mentioned that she reported earnings of just $3,500 but refused an audit. He further alleged that the EFCC pressured Eezee Tee to transfer Mercy Chinwo’s entire music catalog to her, a request he declined.
In sharing the video, VDM dared Mercy Chinwo to disprove his claims or take legal action, voicing his disappointment in her actions.
