Renowned cinematographer and music producer ThankGod Omori, popularly known as TG Omori, has disclosed that he recently experienced a failed kidney transplant

This occurred after his brother selflessly donated a kidney to help alleviate Omori’s kidney-related health challenges.

Omori made this revelation on Wednesday, shortly after expressing that he was enduring severe hardships and urged Nigerians to keep him in their prayers.

He shared,

“One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St Nicolas Hospital Lagos. Pray for me.”

The filmmaker also mentioned that he had already undergone three surgeries and felt that it wasn’t his time to pass away.

Omo Anifowose had earlier reported that Omori’s brother had donated a kidney to him.

“Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again,”

Omori recounted.

The music producer, who has been absent from the public eye for a while, posted a photo of himself in tears while lying on a hospital bed and receiving oxygen.

Although Omori has previously made cryptic comments about his health on social media, this recent update follows a series of concerning tweets. Last month, the award-winning producer posted on his X account, “If I ever cross your mind, please say a prayer for me.”

“Poor marijuana, they blame you for all my rasclaat.

“You wanna eat, I wanna live.”

These revelations have left netizens concerned about his health; many have left words of encouragement and prayers for his quick healing and recovery.

A user on X.com, who tweeted with the handle #Mr Ebony, said,

“The biggest sacrifices are from families, especially brothers. Quick recovery bruh.”

Another user who tweeted anonymously with the handle #Ikorodu President wrote, “Ohh really, hadn’t been you tell me I would have gladly give you one of mine so you can live.”

“Stay strong, wishing you speed recovery.

Nothing go do you in Jesus name,” A user with handle #Honest30bgfan said.

“When they tell you to stop smoking, you guys won’t listen. Thank God for giving you a second chance,” a user with the handle #Realtimmywrld opined.
