Nigerian Entertainment News: Testimony Jaga Rebukes VeryDarkMan for Involving the Church in Mercy Chinwo Dispute
Gospel artist Testimony Jaga has publicly criticized social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), over his ongoing feud with singer Mercy Chinwo
According to Omo Anifowose Entertainment, Mercy Chinwo has taken legal action against VDM for defamation.
In response, the activist referenced her as part of the Christian community, drawing criticism from several quarters.
In a recently shared video, Jaga firmly warned VDM against dragging the Church into personal matters, emphasizing that the body of Christ represents the entire Christian faith, including its leaders and congregations.
He clarified that no one within the Church has any personal issue with the TikToker and urged him to address his grievances directly with Mercy Chinwo, rather than making general attacks on the Christian community.
While cautioning VDM, Jaga remarked that if the activist loses the lawsuit, he will be forced to pay damages instead of endlessly complaining online.
He also questioned VDM’s mental state, labeling his actions as thoughtless and claiming he lacks awareness of his own situation. Jaga further stated that he would not tolerate any disrespect in 2025.
Although Testimony Jaga acknowledged VDM’s initial positive impact, he noted that the activist has since lost his way. He warned him against tearing others down for personal amusement.
It’s worth noting that VDM initially sparked controversy by repeatedly calling out Mercy Chinwo over her alleged dispute with her former manager, challenging her to publicly address his accusations.
