Nigerian Entertainment News: Tems Wins Second Grammy Award

Nigerian singer, Tems, has secured her second Grammy Award, clinching the Best African Music Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

Her hit track, Love Me JeJe, earned her the prestigious accolade, surpassing stiff competition from top artists like Yemi Alade, Asake and Wizkid, Chris Brown and Davo, and Burna Boy.

This milestone follows South African artist Tyla’s win in the category’s debut year in 2024 with her chart-topping song, Water.

Tems received three nominations at this year’s Grammy Awards, bringing her career total to eight. She was also in the running for Best Global Music Album (Born in the Wild) and Best R&B Song (Burning).
