Stan Alieke, the legal representative of Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington, has disclosed that his client is set to regain his freedom soon.

According to Alieke, Speed Darlington appeared in court and was granted bail on January 15.

However, the lawyer noted that the delay in the rapper’s release stemmed from the court’s pending verification of the surety provided.

Alieke added that the musician is expected to be released today, January 16.
