Nigerian Entertainment News: Simi Affirms She Exclusively Listens to Her Own and Her Husband’s Music
Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, a Nigerian singer-songwriter, has asserted that she only listens to music by herself and her husband, Adekunle Gold
During the ‘Zero Conditions’ podcast, she disclosed that she exclusively tunes into Gold’s tracks because they are married.
Simi stated,
“I don’t listen to anybody’s music, the reason I listen to my husband’s songs is because I’m married to him.“I like Post Malone’s first album ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’. love J.Cole. I don’t listen to anybody’s music. Nothing changed. I just don’t know.
“I don’t really listen to anybody’s music. The reason I’m listening to my album now is because it just came out. In few weeks, I probably won’t listen to it as much as I do now.”
In other Nigerian Entertainment News, Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, has opened up about managing stage fright.
The ‘Joromi’ artist, who has struggled with stage fright, described performing a new song live for the first few times as “trying on a new pair of shoes that needs adjustments.”
She explained that she needs time for her brain to connect with the song to overcome her anxiety.
Simi shared a rehearsal video of a track from her latest album, ‘Lost And Found,’ with a caption,
“The first few times I have to perform a new song (any song) live on stage is like trying on a new pair of shoes that needs adjustments.
“I don’t know why that is. Lol. Maybe it’s cos I have a history with pretty bad stage fright. Now I have to give my brain time to bond with the song so it can learn to disregard me and my nerves.
“Anyway this night, I kept rehearsing this song (maybe overly so), because it was my first time performing it on stage and of course the nerves came. But I have one or two more to go until I get out of the way and my brain takes over lol.”
