Nigerian Entertainment News: Popular TikTok Star Peller Allegedly Under FBI Investigation for Cybercrime
Renowned Nigerian TikTok star, Peller, has reportedly attracted the attention of the FBI due to alleged past involvement in “yahoo-yahoo” (internet fraud)
Controversial investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo made the revelation via an audio post on her social media, attributing the information to a supposed FBI insider who connected Peller to online fraud activities.
According to Olunloyo, Peller once admitted during a TikTok live session that he had participated in internet scams before shifting to a lawful career in content creation.
The journalist urged the 19-year-old to exercise caution in his remarks, warning that his previous confessions could bring about legal challenges.
Olunloyo also drew parallels between his situation and that of Hushpuppi, the well-known influencer currently serving a sentence in the United States for cybercrime.
“If anyone knows Peller, please tell him to SFTU. He’s on the verge of ruining his own future,” Olunloyo advised, noting the increasing focus on influencers suspected of engaging in cybercrime.
Olunloyo’s claims have sparked a wave of reactions on social media, with some dismissing them as another exaggerated story from the journalist. However, others have stressed the serious consequences if the accusations hold water, pointing to the potentially damaging impact of such allegations.
