It was earlier reported by Gistlover in June that Nigerian entertainment journalist Stella Dimokokorkus claimed the twin brothers were in conflict over joint finances allegedly mismanaged by their elder brother, who also serves as their music executive, Jude Okoye.
Rudeboy, during an interview with City FM in Lagos, revealed that Peter had involved the EFCC to take action against him and Jude. Peter responded on Monday with a statement, asserting that he never petitioned the EFCC against his twin brother, Paul.
The artist elaborated that he, Paul, and Jude are all involved in managing Northside Entertainment, the company responsible for handling all P-Square matters. However, he discovered another company named Northside Music, which led to further investigation.
Peter expressed his shock upon discovering that Northside Music was established by his elder brother, Jude, along with Jude’s wife, Ifeoma Okoye. He noted that the address used to register the company was tied to Ifeoma’s family residence, prompting him to confront his twin brother Paul, who denied any knowledge of the company.
This discovery led Peter to involve his legal team, instructing them to file a petition against Jude, while excluding his twin brother from the allegations.
Peter explained that he took this action after uncovering that
“millions of dollars and hundreds of millions of Naira were being secretly diverted into this secret company’s account, Northside Music, from our own Northside Entertainment.”
He further revealed that the EFCC’s investigation uncovered that Jude’s secret entity had been collecting royalties meant for Northside Entertainment for several years. During questioning, Jude mentioned Paul’s name, which led to the EFCC summoning his twin brother.
