Nigerian Entertainment News: Paternity Scandal – Ayotomide Labinjo Accuses Davido of Doctoring DNA Test Results
Ayotomide Labinjo, the mother of 11-year-old Anu, has made startling accusations against Nigerian music sensation Davido, alleging he manipulated a DNA test to deny his paternity in a prolonged legal conflict.
Labinjo claims that in 2014, Davido bribed a doctor at a small medical facility to falsify the DNA results, disputing Anu’s connection to the Adeleke family.
This controversy resurfaced when her daughter publicly identified as an Adeleke, sparking renewed debates and denials from Davido’s former attorney, Prince Bobo.
While the lawyer stated that two DNA tests excluded Davido as Anu’s father, Labinjo counters this, asserting that only one test was conducted and accusing the lawyer of spreading false narratives to shield the singer’s image.
The allegations surfaced through Anu’s Instagram page, reportedly created by journalist Kemi Olunloyo, who has actively supported Labinjo’s case. Despite public scrutiny, Labinjo insists her primary goal is to ensure her daughter knows her heritage, not to gain acknowledgment or assistance from Davido.
The ongoing paternity dispute has sparked significant online discussions, dividing opinions between those calling for a fresh investigation and those questioning Labinjo’s assertions.
Labinjo stated:
“This false information was maliciously spread by his friend and former lawyer Bobo Ajudua who was neither present nor was employed by Mr Adeleke at the time in 2014. It has caused malicious bullying and disrespect to my person and my daughter.
“We did not go to two hospitals but a small clinic where my daughter’s blood was drawn in a private room not even a clinical lab setting and my family and I watched money change hands in a brown envelope between Mr David Adeleke and Mr Wale Sobola who disguised his name as “DrAlex”. Dr Kemi has consistently requested a second DNA test on my daughter’s behalf including chatting online with Bobo Ajudua late 2019 who declined on behalf of Mr David Adeleke.
“To make up these vicious lies is below the belt. I do not seek validation from the Adeleke family or any form of support. I only need to establish my daughter’s PATERNITY. We have moved on and doing well with our lives. Special thanks to all Nigerians for the kind words to Anuoluwapo.”
