His debut album, Boy Alone, has officially earned a Gold certification in France.
Originally released in 2022, the album continues to gain global recognition, solidifying Omah Lay’s status on the international stage.
This certification, awarded by the National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP), is given to albums that surpass 50,000 sales in France. The evaluation includes physical and digital purchases, along with streaming figures—where 10 million streams qualify an album for Gold status.
Omah Lay first gained widespread fame with hits like Soso, Attention, and Understand. Before launching Boy Alone, he made waves with two successful EPs, Get Layd and What Have We Done.
The 14-track album continues to perform impressively, boasting strong streaming numbers and widespread acclaim.
Fans are now eagerly anticipating his next project, Clarity of Mind, set to drop in late 2025. Omah Lay recently teased a snippet of the upcoming album on social media, fueling excitement among his followers.
