Nigerian Entertainment News: Nedu Wazobia Sues VeryDarkMan for ₦500 Million
Media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu Wazobia, has taken legal action against activist VeryDarkMan, demanding ₦500 million in damages over alleged defamation
Recently, VeryDarkMan accused Nedu of engaging in intimate relationships with women in return for career promotions through his platform.
The activist also claimed that during a past conversation with Nedu, he learned about Nons Miraj and Ashmusy allegedly being involved in a three-way affair with affluent individuals for financial benefits.
Furthermore, VeryDarkMan asserted that Nedu made derogatory remarks about several female celebrities and disclosed confidential details about them in their discussion.
As part of the accusations, the activist released a 12-minute video on YouTube titled
“How Nedu Diverted NGO Scholarship Meant for Nigerians.”
Nedu’s legal representatives, along with Tokindrumz Picture and Media Ltd, have refuted these claims, describing the video as containing multiple defamatory, false, and damaging statements against their clients.
The legal team also clarified that Nedu is not the owner of Tokindrumz but rather a talent associated with the brand.
They have issued a formal demand for VeryDarkMan to take down all content related to Nedu from his platforms within 24 hours of receiving the notice, issue a public apology, and pay ₦500 million as compensation for reputational harm.
