Nigerian Entertainment News: Mercy Chinwo Takes Legal Action Against Former Manager Eezee Conceptz Over Alleged $345,000 Misappropriation

A Federal High Court in Lagos, on Thursday, approved an arrest warrant for Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, also known as Eezee Conceptz, the former manager of popular gospel artist Mercy Chinwo

The order was issued by Justice Alexander Owoeye following an ex parte application presented by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

As detailed in an affidavit by EFCC investigator Michael Idoko, the agency acted upon a complaint from Mercy Chinwo, who accused her former manager of embezzling funds.

Chinwo alleged that Onyedikachukwu had been illegally collecting royalties from her digital platforms and live performances.

The singer claimed that approximately $345,000 was misappropriated, with no payments made to her. Despite efforts to detain him, the EFCC was unable to locate Onyedikachukwu, leading to the court’s intervention.

The matter has been postponed to January 24, when the manager is expected to be arraigned.
