Nigerian Entertainment News: “I have never truly been in love” – BBNaija’s Vee discloses
BBNaija star Vee has recently revealed her personal perspective on love, admitting that she has never genuinely experienced it
In a conversation on the “Dear Ife” podcast, Vee explained that real love demands a deep level of trust and emotional openness, which she has not yet reached.
Although she has been involved in relationships, she stated that she hasn’t yet felt the emotional intensity necessary to fully understand what it means to be in love. Vee’s honest confession has ignited discussions about trust, vulnerability, and love in relationships.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been in love. To enjoy love, you have to have no guard and completely trust someone, and I think that’s why I haven’t been able to ever truly be there yet. I’ve loved someone, but I don’t think I’ve ever been in love, blindly in love,”
Vee admitted.
She further mentioned that while she can sometimes ignore certain warning signs in a relationship, dishonesty is something she simply cannot tolerate.
“There is always something, and I’m someone who would see a red flag and fold it into my pocket, but I’m aware of it. Everyone has their red flags, but one major one that causes me to step back and keep my guard up is lies,”
she explained.
Vee also recalled a previous situation where another woman contacted her with accusations about her partner’s faithfulness. When she confronted him, his inconsistent responses led her to believe he was being dishonest.
This version keeps “Nigerian Entertainment News” as a keyword focus by centering the rewrite within the context of BBNaija, a Nigerian reality show, reflecting on Vee’s candid discussion about love, trust, and relationships.
“I’ve been in a situation where a random account messaged me with screenshots, saying they had been sending naked pictures to my partner. She said she wanted to test our relationship on my behalf, and he had seen them and liked a few. When I confronted him, he said people were sharing his account with him, but the story didn’t add up. I just knew lies were being told because you can always sense when someone is lying,”
she concluded.
