Nigerian Entertainment News: Goya Menor Opens Up on Collaboration with Portable, Critiques His Approach
Nigerian artist Goya Menor recently shared insights into his collaboration with Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable
According to Omo Anifowose Entertainment, the two musicians set aside their previous differences and collaborated on a track titled Awilo.
In an interview with HipTv, Menor revealed his surprise over Portable’s early release of the song, which was intended to be announced together.
He mentioned that they had planned to use their past tensions as part of the track’s promotion, but Portable didn’t adhere to their strategy.
Menor shared that while the song performed well, Portable’s actions affected the release’s potential for even greater success.
After Portable’s unexpected release, Menor said he had to act swiftly, coordinating with his team to film a video and carry on with the project.
For context, Portable had previously demanded a share of the earnings from Awilo, leading to a brief fallout between the two.
