Nigerian Entertainment News: Falz Opens Up About Marriage Anxieties
Folarin Falana, the Nigerian Hip Hop artist popularly known as Falz, has recently shared his apprehensions about stepping into matrimony
The 33-year-old artist, who has been single for quite some time, admitted that his status as a public figure adds to his uncertainty about what an ideal marriage should entail.
During a recent episode of the Unpack podcast, Falz revealed that he is still contemplating whether to publicize his future marital plans or keep them private.
He stated;
“I’m not married. I have been single for a while now Maybe I should just try marriage. I don’t know the ideal relationship. Maybe that is one of the reasons I am not bothered to try. When I say I am bothered, I don’t know what the ideal setup would look like.
“Being an artiste, being in the public eye, is it going to be public or coded? Or do you want to come out as a famous couple? I think these things are difficult to navigate. This is one of the biggest reasons entertainers do not get to have healthy family life. It is tough. It will always come out one way or the other. I might do it and run it coded”.
In related news, Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer Ayra Starr made her debut on US television by performing on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’ on Tuesday night.
