Nigerian Entertainment News: Denilson Igwe Accuses Mark Angel of Exploitation, Reveals Emmanuella’s Monthly Stipend of $160K
Denilson Igwe, reportedly the original founder of Mark Angel Comedy, has publicly accused his former associate, Mark Angel, of amassing significant wealth while offering mere allowances to him and Emmanuella
Mark Angel’s comedy venture gained widespread popularity in 2014, prominently featuring three main actors: two men and a young girl, Emmanuella.
In a recent podcast revelation, Denilson Igwe asserted that he was the creator of the comedy group, with Mark Angel managing the digital distribution.
However, Denilson alleged that Mark monetized their social media channels and retains all the earnings, except for the monthly allowances provided to Emmanuella.
He further recounted how Mark used the profits to purchase a car, which he falsely claimed was a gift. Denilson accused Mark of profiting at the expense of the Mark Angel Comedy team.
“I was the one that started Mark Angel comedy. Mark was the elder brother of the house, he was a security in Portharcourt while I was doing camera work for a man called Ifeanyi.
“I stole his camera and in our free time, I would do those comedies. Mark created a Facebook page and I did not even know when it was monetized. Suddenly in 2014, he bought a car and he said he got it as a gift.
“I haven’t received a penny then and he’d pay Emmanuella N20K monthly. 2016 was when he gave me N50K, saying this thing no dey bring money and we were making $160,000. If you talk about him, it’s either you die or have accident.”
