Nigerian Entertainment News: Dammy Krane Sues Davido, Demands $500,000
Dammy Krane, a contentious figure in Nigeria’s music industry, has sparked widespread online reactions after his lawsuit against Davido surfaced, alongside a petition to the Inspector-General of Police
The petition highlights five significant points, with a key focus on reopening the investigation into Tagbo’s death. Dammy Krane also claims he has received death threats from a close associate of Davido.
Furthermore, the artist is appealing to the IG to help unfreeze his bank accounts, which have been restricted, limiting his financial access.
He urged the Inspector-General to intervene and ensure that Davido settles an outstanding debt for the song “Pere.” According to Dammy Krane, Davido had committed to paying him $500,000, but after the track’s release, the payment was not made.
Despite the accusations, Dammy Krane has not retracted certain damaging statements about Davido, which contributed to his previous arrest.
The petition was filed just days after Dammy Krane’s release from custody at the Police Force Criminal Investigation Department in Abuja.
