Celebrity barman, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chiefpriest, is facing backlash for not following through on his promise to facilitate the release of detained rapper, Speed Darlington.
According to reports by Omo Anifowose Entertainment, tensions have been brewing between Chiefpriest and music sensation Burna Boy.
Burna Boy recently extended unexpected support to Chiefpriest’s alleged brother and the mother of his child, intensifying the feud.
In response, Chiefpriest boldly pledged to use his connections to secure Darlington’s freedom, asserting that no one, not even Burna Boy, could hinder his efforts.
However, as Speed Darlington remains in detention, many have begun to doubt Chiefpriest’s ability to keep his promise, sparking widespread criticism.
The situation became even more controversial during an extravagant burial ceremony in Anambra State, held in honor of the late mother of Nigerian businessman Cletus Uzoezie Oragwa, also known as Zenco.
The lavish event was attended by numerous celebrities and dignitaries. However, the spotlight shifted when an attendee openly confronted Chiefpriest, reminding him of his unfulfilled vow to assist Darlington.
The incident has ignited a wave of online discourse, with fans and critics alike questioning the authenticity of Chiefpriest’s promises and his dedication to following through.
