Nigerian Entertainment News: Asake Reacts as Fireboy Unfollows Him on Instagram After Dropping New Album “Adedamola”
Nigerian artist Asake has taken to social media to respond after his fellow YBNL labelmate, Fireboy, unfollowed him on Instagram.
This incident occurred shortly after the release of Fireboy’s latest album, “Adedamola.”
On Thursday, August 29, 2024, Fireboy, whose full name is Adedamola Adefolahan, unveiled his fourth studio album titled “Adedamola.”
The album “Adedamola” comprises 14 tracks and features collaborations with five prominent artists: Lagbaja, Lojay, Seun Kuti, DJ Spinall, and Jon Batiste.
Currently, six tracks from Fireboy’s new album have secured spots in the top 10 of the Nigerian Apple Music chart. The songs include “Iseoluwa” at number 2, “Call Me” at number 3, “Ecstasy” featuring Seun Kuti at number 6, “Hell and Back” at number 7, “Letting Go” featuring Lojay at number 8, and “Back and Forth” featuring Lagbaja at number 9.
Prior to the album’s release, Asake unfollowed Fireboy on Instagram. In response to Asake’s actions and the growing success of his album, Fireboy also decided to unfollow his YBNL colleague.
In a recent video, Asake was seen chilling by the pool, vibing to Fireboy’s latest track “Hell and Back” from the “Adedamola” album.
