The event was graced by notable personalities such as Grammy Award-winning artist Wizkid and actor Idris Elba.

Idris Elba presented Asake with a sold-out concert plaque and a BRIT silver certification for his album Work Of Art.

With his recent achievement of selling out the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena, Asake now joins the ranks of Nigerian Afrobeats icons like Davido and Wizkid, who have also headlined sold-out shows at the venue multiple times.

Asake’s first sold-out performance at the O2 was in 2023, coinciding with the release of his second album, Work of Art, solidifying his status on the global music scene.

The O2 Arena has played a crucial role in showcasing the global success of Afrobeats. Davido became the first Nigerian solo artist to headline the venue in 2018, followed by Wizkid in 2019, who later returned for a historic three-night run in 2021.
