Mr Eazi Releases New Single ‘Personal Baby’ | Listen

Mr Eazi renders his second instalment for the year, a brand new single entitled, Personal Baby.

Mr Eazi returns with a new single titled ‘Personal Baby,’ the simmering second single from his as-yet-untitled forthcoming album, and also his second instalment for the year. The song is produced by Nigerian hitmaking beatsmith, Kel P (known for his works with Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Angelique Kidjo). 

The song is complemented with a befitting music video, directed by Ademola Falomo which sets it in a dystopian, Blade Runner-Esque future.

A dark and moody love song co-written with Afropop artist, Teni (known for her hit singles, Billionaire, Uyo Meyo, Case), ‘Personal Baby‘ reimagines the smooth, mid-tempo Banku Music sound that Mr Eazi defined with some of his hits like ‘Skin Tight‘ ‘Pour Me Water‘ and ‘Leg Over.’

The track follows June’s ‘Legalize‘ which was dedicated to his renowned girlfriend, Temi Otedola, as the second single from Mr Eazi’s as-yet-untitled debut album, a project that is nearly a decade in coming.
