“I’m Among The Greatest Musicians From Nigeria” – Pheelz
Award-winning music producer and performer from Nigeria, Pheelz whose real name is Phillip Kayode Moses, claims to be one of the best musicians the country has ever produced
Pheelz made the statement while a guest on an episode of the Feyikemi Akin-Bankole and Simi Badiru podcast, F&S Uncensored.
The singer of the slam song “Finesse” argued that most people suffer from selective amnesia, which is why they do not recognize he is one of the greatest singers ever to come out of Nigeria, the African continent, and the entire planet.
He claims that the fact he has released innumerable hit songs that can be regarded as classics endorses his bold assertion.
The musician summed up that he is also one of the greatest producers in the history of the genre known as Afrobeats.
Pheelz said;
“Sometimes I feel like we have selective amnesia in the [music] industry. I’m not even proud, but it is fact; I’m one of the greatest musicians that Nigeria has ever seen, Africa has ever seen, and the world has ever seen. I have made so many classics. A lot!”.
Furthermore, he spoke on the smash single, Finesse which features BNXN, letting out that Omah Lay was also supposed to be on the song, but he later removed his part because the release date clashed with the release of Omah Lay’s song ‘Attention’ with Justin Bieber.
