Entertainment News Update: Kodak Black in Custody for Cocaine Possession
In a recent development, American rapper Kodak Black has been apprehended on charges of cocaine possession, evidence tampering, and violation of probation terms
The 26-year-old artist was taken into custody in South Florida on Thursday, following an incident where he was discovered with narcotics, allegedly dozing off in a Bentley in Plantation at 3 a.m., as per a law enforcement statement.
Reports from NBC Miami indicate that Kodak Black was confined at the Broward County jail but was granted release on Thursday night.
It’s noteworthy that Kodak Black’s 46-month prison sentence, related to falsifying information on federal forms for firearm acquisition, was pardoned by former US President Donald Trump.
The rapper has a history of legal troubles, including previous convictions for grand theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana, child negligence, and possession of a handgun as a convicted felon.
Consequently, he was sentenced to seven months in a Florida prison. Kodak Black has faced charges in the past, such as armed robbery, sexual assault, probation violation, possession of weapons, and evading law enforcement.
