Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, widely recognized as DJ Cuppy, is celebrating the success of her first foray into acting
The Nigerian DJ made an appearance in the British science fiction series “Supacell,” which has surged to the top of Netflix’s global TV shows chart.
“Supacell” premiered on Netflix on June 27, 2024, and DJ Cuppy featured in a small role in the initial episode as a disc jockey. The series is directed by Rapman.
DJ Cuppy expressed her elation with the series’ success by sharing the news with her followers on the social media platform X.
She posted,
“Cupcakes! Supercell is the number 1 TV show globally on Netflix. [I’m] eternally grateful to RealRapman for giving me the chance to be part of this project. Now, we are currently the most viewed Netflix show in the world!”
This achievement marks a significant milestone for DJ Cuppy as she embarks on her acting journey.
