Brymo Airs His Opinion On Beautiful Nubia & Asa’s Music

The sonic-artiste gave his music counterparts their deserved flowers and respect.

Nigerian sonic artist, Olawale Ibrahim Ashimi Ọlọfọrọ, popularly known as Brymo, has commented on fellow musicians Beautiful Nubia and Asa‘s music.

Beautiful Nubia is a veteran folk songwriter, music composer, and band leader, while Asa is a Nigerian-French soul singer, songwriter, and recording artist, both of whom are contributing majorly to the richness of Nigerian music as an export to other parts of the world.

Brymo, who recently released his debut sonic album “Mansa”, in a twitter space that he hosted on March 15th, 2023, tagged “Pleasure and Wait (Pain)…” after he was asked for his view by a fan, spoke highly of Beautiful Nubia and Asa.

According to Brymo, Beautiful Nubia is a veteran who taught him the ropes on how to succeed as an independent artist making timeless music. The controversial Brymo also went on to laud Asa as the pioneer of alternative music in Nigeria, a path that has borne several other incredible acts who are not pressured to make “club” songs to be considered “successful.”
