Boy Alone or Love, Damini? Which do you play on repeat?

They literally have the country in a chokehold with their music and for the past two weeks, all that has mattered is Burna Boy’s new album and now Omah Lay’s too.

For Burna Boy, the album thing is not new at all. It’s by far not his first rollout. Still enjoying the heat from his hit single, “Last Last,” he released his sixth studio album and he could debut on the Billboard this week.

“Love, Damini” is Burna Boy’s followup to 2020’s “Twice As Tall,” an album that won the Grammy last year.

For Omah Lay, on the other hand, it’s his big debut and this has been a long time coming. Before now, he has made two EP’s and that’s about it. So this is his first outing and it’s not bad at all.

Omah Lay is already a big star and he has made some of the biggest songs out of Nigeria ever. Yet the kid has so much promise and he still has the potential to be so much more.

That’s why his debut album, “Boy Alone” is a much-anticipated project and one of the most awaited this year. No doubt, Omah Lay has come through again because what I’m hearing is a banger.

Anyway, the two PH boys have delivered. Who had the best album between them. What do you think?
