American Entertainment News: Ty Dolla $ign Speaks Out After Kanye West’s Controversial Remarks
Ty Dolla $ign has finally addressed the controversy surrounding Kanye West’s recent inflammatory statements, taking to social media to denounce “all forms of hate speech.”
The 42-year-old rapper, who collaborated with Kanye on the album VULTURES, made his stance clear in an Instagram Story without directly naming West.
His message, displayed on a black background, was brief yet firm:
“I do not condone ANY form of hate speech towards ANYBODY.”
His partnership with Kanye includes songs such as Stars, Keys to My Life, Paid, Talking, Back to Me, Hoodrat, Do It, Paperwork, Burn, and FUK SUMN, along with Talking / Once Again, which features Kanye’s daughter, North West.
This statement comes after Kanye West faced severe backlash over a series of offensive rants on X (formerly Twitter). His posts contained antisemitic, racist, and misogynistic content, even expressing admiration for Adolf Hitler and openly identifying as a Nazi. Additionally, he revamped his Yeezy website to exclusively sell $20 T-shirts featuring a Swastika.
Kanye also took aim at tech billionaire Elon Musk, accusing him of mimicking a Nazi salute at Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration.
He wrote on X:
“ELON STOLE MY NAZI SWAG AT THE INAUGURATION YOOOO MY GUY GET YOUR OWN THIRD RALE.”
Shortly after, Kanye deactivated his X account.
As the controversy escalates, West’s Yeezy website has been shut down, his representation at his talent agency has been cut, and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian has reportedly set strict conditions for his interactions with their children.
Beyond Kanye’s immediate circle, several public figures have voiced their disapproval, including Ty Dolla $ign, actor David Schwimmer, musician Charlie Puth, and Barstool CEO Dave Portnoy.
