American Entertainment News: Kanye West’s Controversial Album Vultures 1 is Removed from Apple Music
In the world of American Entertainment News, Kanye West’s contentious record Vultures 1 has been swiftly taken down from Apple Music merely five days following its initial release on the platform due to copyright infringement disputes
The album’s removal from both Apple Music and iTunes occurred on Thursday afternoon, where the track Carnival had secured the top spot on the Top 100: Global chart.
This action transpired amidst revelations that the distributor of Vultures 1 is actively striving to eliminate it from all streaming services after allegations that Kanye uploaded it to various platforms without proper authorization.
The album encountered streaming complications on Wednesday when Spotify removed the song Good (Don’t Die) owing to copyright infringement claims from Donna Summer’s estate.
FUGA, the distributor, elucidated in a statement that the album was delivered through their platform’s automated procedures by a longstanding client on February 9, 2024, thereby contravening their service agreement.
Consequently, FUGA is collaborating with its digital service provider partners and the client to expunge Vultures 1 from their systems.
Currently, the album remains accessible on Spotify, although the track Good (Don’t Die) is presently unplayable.
These developments occurred subsequent to the announcement by the Rolling Loud music festival of Kanye and his Vultures 1 collaborator Ty Dolla Sign as the headline performers for their March 14 concert in Inglewood, CA. Furthermore, accusations from Donna Summer’s estate emerged, alleging Kanye’s unauthorized usage of a sample from her song on Good (Don’t Die).
It’s reported that Kanye integrated a rendition of the late singer’s 1977 hit I Feel Love into the track, despite purportedly having a previous request to employ the song denied by the late singer’s official Instagram page.
