American Entertainment News: Donald Trump Says He Won’t Deport Prince Harry Amid Immigration Controversy

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that he has no intention of expelling Prince Harry from the United States, despite an ongoing legal dispute over his residency.

“I don’t want to do that,” Trump remarked on Friday. “I’ll leave him be. He’s already dealing with enough issues with his wife. She’s awful.”

Prince Harry’s immigration status is currently under scrutiny in a legal battle unfolding in Washington, D.C..

The conservative think tank Heritage Foundation has claimed that Harry may have concealed past drug use, which could have rendered him ineligible for a U.S. visa.

In his autobiography, Spare, Harry admitted to using cocaine multiple times as a teenager and experimenting with marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms.

The Heritage Foundation referenced these confessions in a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), demanding the release of his immigration records.

Additionally, some have speculated that former President Joe Biden may have granted Harry special treatment when he moved to California following “Megxit”—the term used to describe Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to step down from royal duties.

Earlier attempts by the Heritage Foundation to access Harry’s visa documents through U.S. Customs and Border Protection were denied, as officials stated they required Harry’s consent to disclose the records.

Interestingly, Trump’s stance on the matter appears to have shifted. Last March, he suggested that the situation warranted further investigation.

During an interview with GB News, he remarked, “We’ll have to see what they find out about the drugs, and if he lied, the appropriate action should be taken.”

The U.S. Department of State has confirmed that a history of drug-related offenses can make an individual ineligible for a visa.

The Heritage Foundation initially pursued the release of Harry’s immigration records via Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests before escalating the matter to court. However, Prince Harry is not directly involved in the lawsuit.

This week, Judge Carl Nichols instructed the DHS to clarify what information could be redacted from Harry’s visa documents, a move widely seen as a signal that some details may soon become public.

Previously, on September 9, Judge Nichols had ruled that the records should remain confidential.

At this time, it remains uncertain whether Harry is in the U.S. on a standard visa, a diplomatic visa, or holds a green card, which would grant him permanent residency.
