American Entertainment News: Diddy’s Christmas Prison Menu Unveiled as Rapper Faces Holidays Away from Opulence
Sean “Diddy” Combs, the embattled music tycoon, will spend this Christmas behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York, following multiple failed attempts to secure bail
The 54-year-old rap mogul, who was arrested in Manhattan on September 16 on federal sex trafficking charges, has been unable to convince the court to grant him release pending trial.
Despite his legal team’s efforts, bail has been denied repeatedly due to concerns over potential witness tampering and secret communications while in custody.
Sources told TMZ that the MDC facility has planned a special holiday program for inmates on December 25. Activities include card games, dominoes, and sports tournaments featuring basketball and soccer.
The holiday menu at the prison reportedly includes baked Cornish hen, macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, and a festive dessert, offering a brief reprieve from the otherwise stark conditions.
Diddy, a father of seven, awaits trial in May on charges of coercion, abuse, and intimidation. His children include Quincy Brown, Justin Combs (30), Christian Combs (26), Chance Combs (18), twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs (17), and Love Sean Combs (1).
Last week, U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian denied Diddy’s bail request, citing substantial evidence that he posed a significant risk to witnesses. The judge also noted a history of attempting prohibited communication while in custody.
Combs’ legal team had proposed a $50 million bail package, arguing it was sufficient to prevent flight risk and ensure compliance. However, Subramanian joined two previous judges in ruling that the founder of Bad Boy Records remains a danger to the community if released.
“There is persuasive evidence of Mr. Combs’ violent tendencies,” Subramanian wrote in a five-page decision.
The charges against Combs include allegations of years-long coercion and abuse of women, reportedly facilitated by his associates and employees. Prosecutors accuse him of using blackmail, violence, and even arson to silence victims.
A federal appeals court had earlier denied his immediate release, with the decision now awaiting further review by a three-judge panel in Manhattan.
This case has drawn widespread attention, placing the rapper’s alleged actions under intense scrutiny, making it one of the most talked-about stories in American Entertainment News.
