Beyonce’s anticipated 2025 tour and Christmas NFL halftime performance are reportedly at risk following allegations against her husband, Jay-Z
The 43-year-old global music icon was slated to perform at the NFL Christmas Day game between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens, alongside plans for a major tour next year.
However, these projects may be in jeopardy due to a civil lawsuit accusing her husband, 55, of assaulting a 13-year-old girl alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2000.
An insider revealed to The Sun, ‘Bey and Jay are one of the most dominant power couples on the globe so even though the claim has nothing to do with her, her name had already been dragged into online speculation,’ a source told The Sun.
‘The plan was for Beyonce to perform a new song during her Christmas Day halftime show before kicking off a new era,’ the insider added.
‘Beyonce has Act III of her three-act album saga to announce as well as a huge stadium tour.’
While the “Single Ladies” star has not officially confirmed her tour, reports suggest she had five shows penciled in for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, with additional venues under consideration. The tour is expected to celebrate her latest album, Cowboy Carter.
This update comes in the wake of Jay-Z filing a motion to dismiss the lawsuit against him. The accuser, identified as Jane Doe in legal filings, alleges the incident occurred at a party following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards.
Jay-Z’s legal team has requested that the case either be dismissed or that the accuser’s identity be revealed publicly in documents filed in federal court in New York earlier this week.
