Acclaimed American singer, songwriter, and worship leader Chandler Moore has touched down in Nigeria as part of his ongoing Omemma tour across Europe and Africa

During his stay, Moore has been seen mingling with notable figures in the Nigerian gospel music scene, including House on the Rock pastor Paul Adefarasin and gospel sensation Moses Bliss

His visit has sparked excitement among gospel music enthusiasts in the country.

In a recent update, renowned fashion designer Yomi Casual—brother to comedian AY—posted a video featuring Moore and Pastor Adefarasin at his boutique.

Yomi Casual disclosed that he was preparing to dress the singer in traditional Nigerian attire, inviting Nigerians to suggest a local name for Moore as a gesture of cultural appreciation.

“Guess who’s about to get a taste of premium Naija fashion? The one and only @chandlerdmoore !! It was an honor meeting this powerhouse of gospel music, and now we’re cooking up something special for him, But since he’s stepping into our style, it’s only right we give him a proper Nigerian name. What do you think—Chukwuemeka? Tobi? Ebuka? Drop your best suggestions!”

The U.S.-based gospel star, who recently held a concert in Lagos, shared snapshots from the electrifying event on his social media.

Moore also expressed his deep admiration for Nigeria in a heartfelt message, announcing that Abuja would be his next stop.

“Lagos🇳🇬! Not only did you all bring the blessings into the room but you all brought the spirit with you too! This show meant so much to me because I love Nigeria SOOOO much! The land of #Omemma🇳🇬lol. Abuja! I’m coming for you next and I can’t wait to worship with you. #OmemmaTour2025,” he wrote.
